FAQ
Who are you?
We are a locally owned and operated "mom and pop" business run by Tampa locals. We've been hanging out downtown since before it was cool. We know the ins and outs of the streets of our fair city. Hardcore Tampeños may even recognize us as the original Serengeti Night Safari guides at Busch Gardens and from Tampa's long-running WIT Improv group.
How long are the tours?
The walking distance is less than half a mile. The walking surface is city sidewalks, crosswalks, and there are a few stairs in some of the buildings (less than one-story climbs).
The pub crawl time is three hours, mostly due to allowing ample time at drink stops. We also offer shorter, non-drinking versions of the tours, which run about an hour to an hour and a half.
How many drink stops are there?
There are about 2 or 3 wonderfully fun drink stops.
Are drinks included?
We would love to buy a round at every stop, but we can't. Don't worry, though, every stop has a variety of drinks to purchase in different price points, if you decide to partake. All stops have very reasonable prices.
Do we have to dress up for the 1920's tour?
We encourage you to embrace the look of the 20's but it's not required. However, some stops do have a minimum dress code on this tour, so no flip-flops, t-shirts or shorts are passable.
Where should I park?
We recommend taking an Uber, first of all. But there are a variety of parking options. The tour begins and ends within three blocks of the Poe Garage (800 N. Ashley Drive). We also recommend the Royal parking lot (1200 N. Tampa St.), which is a few dollars for all day parking. This location is close to the end of the tours. Street parking is free on weekends and after 6:00 PM during the week. The best options for street parking are around the Royal Street lot, and near the Oaklawn Cemetery. The Oaklawn location is close to the end of the Florida Man tour, and the beginning/end to the 1920's tour.
